ANAHEIM, CALIF (January 23, 2019) – Around 9 a.m. today, Anaheim Police responded to an apartment complex breezeway in the 400 block of S. Kroeger Street to investigate a report of a dead body.
When officers arrived, they found Charlie Uriostegui, a 24year-old Anaheim resident, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Uriostegui was obviously deceased and the investigation revealed he had been shot in the west alley around 2:30 a.m.
No arrests have been made and the shooting is believed to be gang-related. Homicide detectives are urging anyone with information to call 714-765-1900, or Crime Stoppers at 855-TIP-OCCS or www.occrimestoppers.org.
